Highland Skate Shop has been the go-to shop for figure skates for over 60 years, and is a factory dealer for Jackson, Edea, Harlick, Riedell, Aura, and SP-Teri stock and custom boots. We stock Jackson boots for the beginner, recreational and competitive skater, to provide you with the best fit. We also stock Edea and Aura Sky boots. If we do not have your size or model, we will gladly order your boots for you. We also stock Jackson Matrix, Apex and Ultima, MK, and John Wilson blades in a wide range of models and sizes. We can help you make a selection that is best for you.
We also offer Superfeet insoles, either trim-to-fit or custom for skates, shoes, work boots, or ski boots.

Highland Opens
Highland Ice Arena opens on December 14. The first full service ice arena in the Puget Sound area, including the first Zamboni ice resurfacer.
January 1971...
Second Ice Sheet
New addition opens incuding a second ice sheet, locker rooms, sales shop, and second upstairs hall.
January 1996...
Highland co-hosts ISI
Highland co-hosts ISI Worlds skating competition (along with Olympicview and Lynnwood Sno-King ice arenas). Our new locker rooms and bleachers opened right before the competition.
October 2022...
Highland Closes
After 60 years, Highland Ice Arena closed to the public on October 15. A final farewell party was held on October 22, with skaters who had skated at Highland from 1962 through 2022.
January 2023...
Highland Skate Shop Opens
January 1, Highland Skate Shop opens in a new location. Still located in Shoreline, WA, just a little north.
