Highland Skate Shop is my go to shop for all my skate needs. Rick expertly fits my daughter for skates; gives recommendations, sharpens her skates; and so much more. My daughter has been skating for 9 years and we've been customers for all this time and we won't go any where else!

I very much recommend Rick's skating services as they've been vital to my skating success for over 20 years. I have very difficult complicated foot issues, even for custom skate boots, and Rick's vast knowledge and expertise has been key for me throughout my competitive skating years and now while teaching, as well. He has helped numerous students of mine from regular fittings and sharpenings to purchase guidance and alignment corrections and so much more. I am very grateful for the consistent, highest quality service and dedication to me, my students, and this sport. Thank you so much, Rick and Diana!

Rick Stephens
Hi, I'm Rick, and I have over 60 years of experience in the ice skating industry, including skate fitting, sharpening, and repairs. I have worked with skaters throughout the Pacific Northwest with skaters coming from as far away as Montana, Arizona, and Alaska for stock, semi-custom, and custom boots. My specialty has been helping skaters with boot, blade, and/or foot issues. Over the years, I have worked closely with boot and blade manufacturers, giving feedback on designs and materials, and have frequently attended vendor seminars.
Diana Stephens
Hello, I'm Diana, I have over 37 years of experience in skate fitting and repairs, learning by watching Rick. I have worked with skaters from beginner through competitive level, including designing semi-custom and custom boots. I have joined Rick in attending numerous vendor seminars, and I look forward to doing so again.
It was in the early 1990's that we were introduced to Superfeet Insoles. We have been able to incorporate the custom and trim-to-fit insoles as foot correction for ice skates, ski boots, work shoes, and workout shoes, reducing the need for costly orthotics.
We look forward to helping you with your ice skating needs.
Highland Skate Shop, formally an ice rink for over 60 years ago, is now a one-stop hub for skaters, offering boot and blade adjustments, custom fittings, sharpenings and above all expertise.
